New Parents Under the Cross Part 4/5
I’ve spent time and lived with several leaders from CTMI in different countries. I have watched their lives and their reactions to situations and circumstances. I can declare without question that, if it were not for what I witnessed I would be lost to the world today. I saw and realised through watching them that the Lord wanted to deal with ME, because they had allowed the Lord to deal with them first. What I also saw was the absence of compromise in their lives before the Lord. While it must have been tough for some of them to see some of their children choose the world, they remained in faith and did not dilute the gospel for the sake of emotions. Most of their kids and families are now serving the Lord in a much deeper way because of their willingness to follow Christ without compromise.
With my own two children, the responsibility for their lives lies in part with me. I am so thankful to the Lord for all the people in CTMI churches that have surrounded my children with a gospel that will change their lives. It is a HUGE relief to know they are hearing and seeing something real and from the Lord. Ultimately they will need to make a decision to serve Jesus, but I know how much the preaching of the Cross has accomplished in my life, and am confident of what it will do in theirs…
