As parents… we are grateful our prayers have been answered!
Our daughter, who is now 23 years old, attended a reputable private school in the Highway area. She matriculated in 2003, and is presently in her 3rd year studying through UNISA to become a teacher.
She gave her life to the Lord 16 months ago after attending a meeting at Grace Gospel Church, where Basil O’ Connell-Jones is the pastor. Before that she was partying and drinking heavily and spent most of her nights in clubs until the early hours of the morning.
She went to Mauritius towards the end of 2008 for holidays and attended Eglise Chrétienne, and we could honestly see a change in her life. There is a new glow in our daughter and many people close to us have seen a happier girl, with no ulterior motives except to serve the Lord. Today, we spend more quality time together as a family and we’ve seen how Jesus has softened her heart in so many ways. Her life presently is only to walk “the narrow road” and to praise and worship Him.
The leaders of Grace Gospel Church have always been there for her and have given her the support she has needed. After seeing the new life of our daughter and her genuine desire to serve the Lord, we also decided to attend Grace Gospel Church and have found the messages so meaningful.
As parents who were very concerned about our daughter’s life, we are so thankful that our prayers have been answered… Her life is a true testimony of the grace and love of the Lord.
